Well, we've gone from Jerusalem... to having mass at Emmaus... and now we are spending a few nights in Bethlehem. My first thought on seeing Bethlehem was that it is not a "little town". It is big town now; and it is a very tense town; and it is a very hot town. Our hotel is basically attached to the Church where we believe Christ was born. As we walked into the hotel lobby a sign welcomed us saying "Merry Christmas"... someone pointed out that it is always Christmas in Bethlehem.
